I think the most significant accomplishment for my midterm project is the idea. I may not use the photoshop technique well , but I think I get a good idea. In midterm I create a scene I play basketball with Allen Iverson ,this is my frst project I put myself i the picture , I am so excited, and this is also accord with our big idea -----Dream.
I think the most challenging project is create a Movie Cover. Althorgh we can do everything we like , but I still have no idea at first. Finally , I finish a movie cover about avater and star wars , I think is no a bad job. In this quarter , I think the tecnique I improve fast is the select tools . I know this is a basic tools , but at first when I try to cut somthing from other pictures , it takes me many time to use select tools. Now I can use it very fast and perfect.
I think the biggest change show in two project is between the mazagine cover and movie cover . In th mazagine cover , we just know how to put the picture together and marshalling , but in the movie cover , we start to change the brightness and hue , and we have many things and technique to change, too. If we come back to see the mazagine cover , the is no doubt than we can do it better .
For my final project, I try to create a CD cover , I will try my best .

Blog Assignment #4
In my final project, I will try to make a CD cover to my favorite Singer ---James Blunt. I think it isn't a easy job because CD cover must be elegant and impressive. I will create the whole CD, include cover and the back. In the cover , I will try to make the cover like a real CD , and list the songs in the back.It will be a new try and I am excited .
And these three pictures are influenced me to doing my work.
The First picture I like it's Idea, just like our big idea about Dream .At that time we try to combining many pictures to tell the point idea--Dream ,this kind of cover can make the details abundant.
The second one I like it is letters , this arrangement is novelty and make people more attention.
The last one I like it is color, I will try but I am no sure I can finish this effect.
And I will try to learn about this effect in http://psdlearning.com/2008/07/cd-cover-design/

Jennifer Losch Bartlett (born March 14, 1941 in Long Beach, California) is an American artist. She is best-known for paintings combining abstract and representational styles.
Bartlett is best known for her paintings and prints of mundane objects—especially houses—executing in a style that combines elements of both representational and abstract art.
In her works ,I feel comfortable and peace, I think the theme in her works is Optional and express. I do not know abstract and representational styles well , but I know that these kind of works look easy but do it hard ,it seems like Disorderly painting but we also can see the theme and Specific things.Bartlett gives me a concept that when you try to finish a work ,you must follow your heart , you can not doing a work in order to just finish it. I think I will do works more random and attentively.

Today I learn about the Lighing in http://www.worth1000.com/tutorials/163028/lighting ,
and I try to practise, these is the process
the original picture
first I ues Color Range like what tutorial say , then I use Gaussian Blur(Radius 50). Brightness(-150) Contrast(100) and Hue Saturation(-60) to make the light brightness and other things dark. Then I merge the layers .
Then the effect is
Then I change the brightness and contrast again to make it colorful .
Here are the final picture .
I thin I finally made the effect but because there is only one light in this picture , the effect is no obvious.
The obvious thing is :I need more practise!!!
